"I paint from observation landscape, still life and portraits, trying to capture the light of a passing moment." Doron Putka attended Parsons School of Design as well as Betzalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem. In addition to pursuing a degree in illustration, Putka has taken classes in landscape painting at the Jerusalem Studio School under Israel Hershberg, as well as a master class in painting with Stuart Shils. Since 2003, Ms. Putka has been a full-time artist working mostly in still-life and landscape painting as well as taking private portrait commissions.
