Pepper Gallery will host a group show with work by alumni of Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts from March 9 through March 21, 2007. Various media will be represented including works on paper by Rosemary Broton Boyle, Barbara Moody and John Thompson; sculpture by Margaret Swan and paintings by Tim Peck. Theresa Monaco’s latest book project, “Constantina Monaco” will also be on display. Rosemary Broton Boyle received a MA from Goddard College as well as a BFA from Syracuse University. Her work has been exhibited widely and is included in numerous private and corporate collections. Barbara Moody earned an Ed.D and a M.Ed from Harvard University, as well as a BFA from Syracuse University. Barbara is a full-time professor Montserrat College of Art, where she also served as Vice President and Dean for nine years. John Thompson earned a MFA in 2005 from Massachusetts College Of Art, he also holds an MA from the University of Wisconsin and a BFA from Syracuse University. He is currently on the printmaking faculty at Massachusetts College of Art. Margaret Swan holds a MFA from Bennington College and a BFA from Syracuse University, Swan’s public works have been exhibited at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park. She is currently the Chairperson of the Art Department at Middlesex Community College. Tim Peck earned a MFA from Syracuse University as well as a BFA from The Art Institute of Boston where he is currently on faculty. Theresa Monaco received a BFA from Emmanuel College and a MFA from Syracuse University. She is currently Professor Emeritus of Art at Emmanuel College.
